Beauty in the Dissonance is the musical duo of singer/songwriter Laura Katie and award-winning singer/songwriter Eric Scott Klein, with sounds that fall at the intersection of Americana and Dream Pop. Based in NYC, Beauty in the Dissonance sings songs that explore stories of love, loss, and life over time. 

Produced by platinum record producer Barb Morrison (Blondie, Rufus Wainwright), engineered by a Grammy Award-Winning team of Jeremy Kinney (FLETCHER)  and Dan Malsch (Ghost, Gojira, Bowling for Soup) it was mastered by multiple Grammy Winner Chris Gehringer (Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles, Lady Gaga, Lizzo, Rihanna, Twenty One Pilots, Lana Del Rey, Jason Mraz, Florence and The Machine, Bruno Mars) and mixed by Jonathan Jetter (American Authors, Dean Lewis, Loote, CYRIL, James TW).

Decades after meeting at college, Laura Katie and Eric connected again to sing compose songs about the time spent living apart, the ghosts of their past, and an unearthed romance. Together they bring a lush performance which reweaves the tapestry of Americana, with a needle dipped in nostalgia and inked in Dream Pop modernity.
